Jason Gerber

Jason has been developing, constructing and operating renewable energy projects for the past ten years. He has been part of SolarReserve South Africa since Jasper financial close in June 2013, first as Project Manager during the construction of the plant following which he took over the role as Project Executive Manager for the Operations & Maintenance phase of the project in February 2015. He has a broad range of experience having worked on a variety of multi-faceted projects in South Africa, United Kingdom, Middle East and Seychelles. His experience spans over the entire life-cycle of projects across a range of different sectors including large scale PV solar projects; infrastructure projects including project managing the construction of the King Shaka International airport terminal building; traditional build projects including residential, commercial and industrial; retail shop fit-out; new store construction and refurbishment.Jason received his National Higher diploma in Construction Management from the Cape Town Peninsula Technicon in 1999 and a Bachelor Technology degree in Quantity Surveying in 2000.
